Promotes programs and activities to increase and maintain membership.
	Assists Chapters in chartering new chapters.
	Conducts workshops as needed in areas of membership retention and development.

South Carolina Gems Awards
During the 2004-2005 fiscal year, a program was initiated to recognize South Carolina Division members for their commitment and membership in IAAP.  South Carolina Gems pins are given in five year increments for service as follows:

	5 years - Pearl
	10 years - Ruby
	15 years - Sapphire
	20 years - Emerald
	25 years - Gold
	30+ years - Diamond
